Advaned Misting System - 5th generation

This is the latest 5th generation Advanced Misting System. Created based on most often ordered parts and feedback from our customers

Each version sold before had some major improvements that made it better than the previous. This time we tackled the improvement of the timers and addition of few crucial parts.

In previous version we have created 3 completely custom timers suitable for various applications. You can pick and customize your system and control it exactly as you need it. Select the timer you want in your system. To learn more about how each timer works, please visit the timer page.

MistKing is always improving. Over the years we've spotted a bit of room for improvement over our previous version. In version 5 these are:

Improved timer electronics. Timers now have a 3 times higher electronics rating which better equips the timers for dealing with power outages and high inductive demand of MistKing pumps. This should improve system failure rates and add to MistKing reliability.

Reservoir Bulkhead has been custom designed from ground up and is exclusive to MistKing. With its dense metal thread you can now tighten with all required force without worry of stripping. We have even tested the bulkheads to squeeze a bucket without an o-ring and achieved perfect seal. Nevertheless use an o-ring for added security.

We now also include a small reservoir filter. No need to worry that a floating debris will be sucked into the system and clog your nozzle. We love color black in our systems, however the filter is white to easier spot when it needs to be rinsed.

This Advanced Misting System v5.0 includes

Advanced Misting System with a 3/8" Backbone is a significantly more powerful system than the starter or ultimate. Unless you're going to exceed 15-20 nozzles, we do not recommend upgrading to this misting system. Features a pump capable of pressures up to 125psi. Supports from 10 to 70+ nozzles of your choice. Actual number of nozzles depends on the complexity of the system. Pump can run continuously for hours at a time, EVEN DRY! These pumps are manufactured specifically for MistKing and are very robust.
This is the 4th generation mistking system which includes the new seconds timer. If your need calls for a different timer, be sure to select it from the options on the right. To learn more about how each works visit the timer page

This kit can be used as is, just get a suitable size reservoir. If you intend to use more nozzles, we recommend extending the 3/8" tubing backbone and adding some extra Reducing Tee (link) connections and then splitting into 1/4" lines that will feed the individual misting assemblies. Alternatively you can use a 7 port manifold fed by 3/8" tubing or a combination of both.

We suggest using this kit as the backbone for a custom misting system. Just add parts, nozzles, tubing and expand on this work horse. At MistKing.com we've been asked thousands of times about what is the best water to use. The answer is always Reverse Osmosis water (RO for short).
Purpose of a MistKing system is to create convenience, dependability through reliability and consistency. Added convenience is to mist with water that dries spot free and helps to keep your sprayed objects clean. Water is sparkling clean void of chemicals and contaminants. Using RO water will ensure that you never clog your nozzles.
We've been in the exotic hobby for 25+ years and operating mistking for 15|+. Over the years we've tested and used multitudes of RO system professionally and personally. Before getting our own filtration system, we've formulated a list of things an ideal filter should have.
These are:
Must have booster pump as non boostered filters just don't provide consistent water production and have a shorter cartridge life.
Must be easy to install
Must indicate when it's time to change cartridges
Must have an onboard TDS meter, displaying quality of produced water (TDS=Total Dissolved Solids)
Must automatically FLUSH it's RO membrane to prolong its life
Must have filters that are effortless to change with no tools
Must come with a storage reservoir that can provide water for you and the MistKing system.
Must be attractive looking, if you're into RO filters :)

Night want few hrs of moon light ? Turn off white, orange, green and yellow LEDs and just put a shimmer of blue. Observe your nocturnal animals come to life, or just enjoy the cool look of your aquarium/vivarium
NOTE: Remember, you can adjust every one of the 5 modes to your liking, you can run each mode for as long as you want too! Want your sunrise last 5 min or 3 hrs, no problems?


Cool Remote Functions

Multi-function Remote - control all function of the light with the included remote. Switch between lighting modes. Interrupt the daily program and hit Day setting while you do maintenance. Program all the modes with a touch of a button.
LIGHTNING STORM MODE - want to impress your friends ? Kick on the LIGHTNING mode and turn your vivarium or aquarium into a stormy frenzy. Lightning can be sped up or slowed down too, so if you're impatient press (+) on the remote and increase frequency of lightning strikes. (-) will slow things down.
CLOUD MOVEMENT - ever wanted to simulate natural movement of clouds in your vivarium/aquarium ? Press COLOR on the remote and watch the light turn down intensity, color and brighten up, dim down as the clouds roll through in front of the sun. It's a really cool effect that may send shivers down your spine the first time you see it - it did for us ! Again, hit (+) or (-) on the remote to speed up or slow down the effect.
